Global Climate Strike 
 
The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is supporting the Global Climate Strike on 20 September 2019. 
 
AILA has endorsed the This is Not Business as Usual movement and will be providing time for staff to attend peaceful public events. 
 
“The endorsement of the Global Climate Strike comes after AILA declared a Climate and Biodiversity Loss Emergency recently.” said AILA CEO, Tim Arnold.
 
“It is a practical way that AILA can take leadership on the issue and we encourage AILA members and landscape practices to also join the movement.”
