QLD Webinar: What's new in Urban Forestry/ Urban Greening

Boardwalk with tree canopy
Join us online for an engaging conversation on what’s new and trending in sources and applications of the evidence base for urban greening, including measuring canopy cover and forecasting its multi-values.

Case studies from across Australia will be used to highlight the drivers of positive change that are influencing cooler, greener and healthier neighbourhoods, including engaging communities, more climate resilient species diversity, making space for larger growing trees and integrated outcomes.  Lyndal Plant from LPUF will lead the discussion. Lyndal will be joined by Alex Brown and Chris Madigan from ARUP to discuss the AILA award winning Gold Coast Tree Canopy Study.

We look forward to AILA members sharing and discussing their thoughts and experiences of the challenges and opportunities for improving urban greening within Queensland urban centres and projects.
