Take a tour behind the scenes with Gosford Quarries to see one of Australia’s largest sandstone quarries, and journey with us to see how raw blocks become pieces of art. Gosford Quarries factories boast State-of-the-art technologies not seen anywhere else in Australia, and this is a great opportunity to see how traditional masonry and advanced technology are combined, and to experience unique sandstone manufacturing in action!
Sandwiches will be provided for lunch after the tour.
A coach will be provided and will depart from Central Station. Please meet at Central no later than 8:45am. The tour will run from 10am-2pm and the coach will arrive back at Central at 3pm.
Attendees must wear closed-in shoes (steel-cap boots preferred) appropriate for the quarry and for workplace safety. Hi viz vests will be provided by GQ and a safety induction will also take place before the tour.
