Exploring the Effect of Lighting Specification Choices on Sustainable Practices and Well-Being
This lunch will discuss the importance of sustainability in design and its impact on well-being. We will explore the critical role of lighting specification in achieving sustainable outcomes, focusing on key factors such as energy efficiency, material selection, light pollution reduction, lifecycle assessment, and renewable energy integration. Additionally, we will examine lighting design principles that affect environmental and human well-being, covering aspects such as dark sky practices, visual comfort, safety, security, and human interaction.
