
We invite you to join us on a journey to see What Sydney’s Made of® as we take you on a hands-on experience of the quarry lifecycle in a sustainable world.
The tour will take place at the Benedict Menangle Sands on Friday 22 September.
This informal site tour will transport guests through the Benedict Menangle quarry and allow them to explore the reality of how landscape materials are made. The tour will highlight deposit formation, soil extraction, blending with recycled products and end with a tasty lunch. Furthermore, the SmartMix® range of products will be showcased and the benefits of how these manufactured soils improve with age.

Format: The site tour will commence with an introduction of the quarry and processes, followed by an interactive, hands-on experience of the quarry lifecycle, and conclude with an informal food truck styled lunch.
Dress Code: Casual clothes. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and steel caps boots. Safety vests will be provided.
Parking: Parking will be provided at our Menangle Rural Lands –Menangle, New South Wales and all guests will be transported in minibuses to safely enjoy our quarry site tour.
