Currently Australia is experiencing a significant skills shortage, particularly in building new infrastructure, including landscape architects. As a result, the Australian Government is prioritising skilled migration in range of sectors including those responsible for building infrastructure. As part of that, the Department has launched an international advertising campaign to attract more skilled migrants to Australia, including setting up a new stand-alone website called Smart Move Australia, which includes links to the Department’s main website:

In addition to the independent points tested visas promoted in this website, the Department also has a range of employer sponsored visas, including temporary, permanent, and regional.
