WEBINAR: Pedestrian safe pavements (Bundaberg case study)

Join us for this national webinar on pedestrian safe pavements from our National Partner ACO.

Pedestrian safe pavements – surface water management and access enclosures

Pavements need to withstand stormwater as well as accommodate accessible services such as power and communications.

This webinar will guide designers of urban public areas on how to correctly integrate trench drains and service pits in pavements whilst ensuring safety,  walkability and enhancing aesthetics. Both their physical and visual requirements to the urban space will vary from project to project as will the surface level considerations of slot criteria, slip resistance, durability and access for maintenance.

The session will also feature a case study presented by Dominic Powell, Archipelago.

Dominic is a highly experienced landscape architect and urban design leader with an award-winning, extensive, and proven track record in the planning, design, and delivery of complex social infrastructure.

In his presentation Dominic will cover two projects - Bundaberg CBD Revitalisation and West Ashgrove Village.
