AMP Activation

AILA Fresh NSW has put together a temporary installation to activate an underutilised space in Circular Quay by using resources recovered from industrial processes to inject vegetation into a dreary plaza and inspire the public to imagine the future of a vibrant Quay Quarter development in the AMP Towers precinct.

The design team of Alex Crowe, Michael White, Anina Carl, Ashley Darby and Faid Ahmad have collaborated with AMP Capital, Street Furniture Australia, We-Ef Lighting, Andreasens Green and Blue Scope Steel to create a daytime hangout and evening event space. AILA Fresh invite you down to the installation on Wednesday Oct 11 for an Ideas Bombing event and the AILA Fresh Scavenger Hunt will culminate at the site with drinks and light refreshments on the evening of Thursday Oct 12.

The site will be alight with comprehensive projection artwork on both nights so make sure you get down to check it out and be inspired by the young people imagining the future city.

Quay Quarter, Sydney, NSW

The Quay Quarter development at the heart of Circular Quay Sydney will add one acre of new public and private green and outdoor space. In the heart of the CBD, Quay Quarter Tower will be right at the centre of the city’s newest neighbourhood; a revitalised landmark site and vibrant destination.

One acre of new public and private green space over the precinct adds contrast, time away and places to stroll and sit, reflect and relax, for those that want them and places for informal meetings and client events. These uplifting public spaces contribute to the sense that Quay Quarter Tower is more than just a place to work.
