In recent years, Box Hill has been on the radar of landscape architects with the City of Whitehorse’s forward-thinking approach to providing dynamic and engaging spaces for the community.
The first stop will be the awarded Box Hill Gardens Multi-use Purpose Area by ASPECT Studios in collaboration with NMBW Architecture Studio, which was commissioned by the City of Whitehorse. The brief was to create an innovative space with a diverse array of recreation activities and events within the historic and well-loved gardens of Box Hill Gardens.
The second stop will be Artists Park by Land Design Partnership which is a truly unique Flora-range of Nature Play Nordic Pine play ensembles. Artists Park is situated close to where the famed painters of the Heidelberg School-Movement met in the 1880s. The play space was designed to have a distinct natural feel to it ensuring it would blend in with the surrounds and its rich history.
