Be a Landscape Architect

Want to do something meaningful with your career? There are all sorts of reasons why Landscape Architecture could be for you. Every year, our ‘Be a Landscape Architect’ program welcomes the next generation of young talent by supporting up to 100 school engagements.

Where to study?

There are universities across Australia where you can study to be a landscape architect. In fact, you’ll find an accredited course available in nearly all capital cities.

From engaging school students in curriculum-based learning experiences, all the way to supporting Continuous Professional Development in Registered Landscape Architects. Education is lifelong, and we provide the programs and resources to support it.

Continuous Professional Development gives us all an opportunity to evolve our skills in answer to a changing world.

As a Registered Landscape Architect, you’ll need to undertake a certain amount of CPD within three years. (This can be either formal or informal.)

As the World Evolves so does the Profession

AILA provides and recognises Continuous Professional Development as a means to maintain the expertise and skills necessary to meet the challenges of a changing and evolving planet.

Registered Landscape Architects are required to undertake a certain amount of CPD within a three-year time frame to maintain their standing as a registered landscape architect. This may be either formal or informal CPD.
