Introducing Mandala art workshop combined with techniques of botanical sketching at JPE Design Studio!
Mandala is an ancient art form of geometric designs that symbolically represent the universe. It has an identifiable focal point and as one proceeds outward with the mandala, they are guided through a healing and meditative process.
Combining this with botanical sketching, expands our creative capabilities as Landscape Architects.
Botanical sketching not only enhances our drawing skills, but helps us understand and appreciate the minute details found in nature.
Feel free to kindly bring in your watercolor/art supplies.
Base paper and pens provided. An email will be sent the week of the event outlining what supplies we are providing.
Attendees will be shown skills to begin their own mandala and botanical sketching.
This workshop will be led by SAILA Fresh Vice Co-Leader - Veena Yelamanchili
