Season’s Greetings, AILA Queensland Members!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve come together across the state for our festive gatherings celebrating achievements, announcing our new Fellows and Registered Landscape Architects, and honouring excellence with the Karl Langer Award. Congratulations to Shael Erda, the 2025 Karl Langer Award recipient, and to all finalists who made it through to the final selection!
On the Sunshine Coast, the AILA SUN team combined creativity with connection at The Met Maroochydore workshopping ideas for cooler, greener, and more resilient streets and public spaces, while enjoying end-of-year networking and keeping the Cool Green Streets conversation alive.
A heartfelt thank you to all our members who generously volunteer their time throughout the year on committees, panels, juries, through mentoring, and by advocating for the profession. Your dedication makes a real difference. We also extend our gratitude to our Corporate Partners for their ongoing support of AILA and the Queensland Chapter.
On behalf of the Queensland Chapter and committees, we wish all our Members, Corporate Partners, and industry friends a joyful, relaxing holiday season. We look forward to reconnecting and continuing our work together in 2026!
